Well mate if your a newbie, then yes go ahead, its a very well written and fairly comprehensive introduction to the DBPro environment and is much easier on the brain than the standard manual.
If, however, you are used to DB/DBPro and are looking for something with extra secrets on how to program amazing games i would recommend you look elsewhere.
Although if you already know another language and are migrating to the DB environment i suppose it`d be worth a look.
Good CD included mind. Some good little demos stuck on there. "Strutt your stuff" especially.
