I am trying this as a means for people to get a true feeling of my new buildings coming up.

This will let you completely move freely around my buildings and see the complete detail.

Feedback is needed for this test please.

Here is the link.

It is supposed to according to the developer..let me check

States "A web browser such as Internet Explorer (4.0 or later), Firefox, or Netscape
A 3D capable video card is highly recommended "

Not sure what the problem was on your end...but I tried it with FF and it worked fine.

Nice composition overall, Stamina.

crits:

Exposed rafter beams are too uniform.

Splintered beam laying near the corner lacks a sense of weight. The thin part should be buckled a little from the weight of the beam when it fell into place. It looks like it's been gingerly placed there.

The damaged wall sections need a few angled chips taken out here and there to break up the extruded look.

Everything appears to be at 90 degree angles.

When you're making a destroyed building, think about how it got that way. There should be a sense of "this part colapsed into that part which caused this other piece to deform, etc"

Make some refinements and keep up the good work.

Thanks for the critique,,,the post wasnt really for examining the model, but more or less the proccess of the viewer,,lol..The building actually is nowhere near finished,,as a matter of fact,,most of what you pointed out still needs to be done..that is the rough draft..but I appreciate your comments non the less.

As far as some of the suggestions,,I am trying to keep it simple as possible but keep as much realism as I can in keeping with the limits of fpsc...

I was wrong, after restarting firefix it now works.
I had to install with IE as firefox could not find a plugin for it.

Odd...oh well,,at least you got it to work. I kinda like it because you can move the model around and get a better look than just a jpg pic.

Hey there Stamina your model looks great.... What inspiration you bring to this community... But would you mind if I ask if you used 3d max or sketchup when making this and if by cnance you used sketchup then I know you had to use the teleporter but my question is did you have to use Hypercosm Studio to make your html scripts? Or did you have a work around for this?

And your correct this looks so much nicer then viewing this from a jpg file...

Have you downloaded your CLiPs today.

Yep, the viewer works for me fine too in IE, but not Firefox. That's a novel way of displaying models, very neat.
