Whenever i make shadows, they look reallly bad. not "real" at all. Iv'e seen some games with really cool shadows. can any one help?

what's wrong with that?

add more scenery, it will cast more shadows.

also, if you haven't, set it to "full light maps"

depending on the level size you are in for complaints of a 10 or more minute loading time if you set it to full.
