I think I remember seeing that there is a limitation in MP and that the rocket launcher/bazooka couldnt be used. Does this apply the hand grenades as well?

No, no, it is the flak. Because the host would have to send data to move the flak object after it was fired, where bullets use raycasting so it isn't required.
