We plan to release an update (v1.10) for STYX soonish that will include the most often requested features so far.

In case you have anything that you think STYX should have, feel free to post it here.

Current state:
There'll be additions to the existent sections as well as five new sections which I will talk about later.

I wouldn't recommend using JPEG for shaping (if it were supported ) because of the lossy compression it uses. However PNG is a good idea. Perhaps a better solution is adding support for DBPro images. So you can also specify a DBPro image number instead of a file name. I'm not sure if it will make it in v1.10, but it will happen at some point.

Since it's written in Delphi, it will be difficult to deliver Styx as a static library. However, there's a chance that there'll be a dynamic library compatible with the GDK later this year.

I have some ideas how to load media (objects, images, shaders etc) from memory or from a "single file system" without extracting them to the hard disk first. This would theoretically also work for web based files. However that'd be a bit out of place in Styx. We'll see.

Any update on v1.10? I've just bought STYX, but I would pay £15 just for the above function

Great plugin, I hope the update is out soon; can't wait to get my hands on that interval sync.

For XML, please add this command:

NEXT XML ATTRIB(xmlID): Works exactly like NEXT XML NODE, but with attributes. Allows you to read attributes from nodes that have more than 1 attribute. Returns zero if there are no more attributes to read.

Soonish. I was ill the last two weeks but it's done anyway except for a few bits and pieces.

Quote: "NEXT XML ATTRIB(xmlID): Works exactly like NEXT XML NODE, but with attributes. Allows you to read attributes from nodes that have more than 1 attribute. Returns zero if there are no more attributes to read."

At this point in time multiple attributes are not supported, but perhaps I can include it to the coming release.
