Who's afraid of the old FPSC skull?

Even my little sister laughs when the FPSC skull appears and attacks her in my games. So I decided to replace it with a Jack O'Lantern Halloween pumpkin that I made in Cinema 4D.

Though it isn't scary either , here's the Cinema 4D render:

and this is the lowpoly model from an ingame screenie:

@The Game Creator

You are absolutely right and I am also not completely satisfied with the lowpoly-model. I will consider your suggestions in an updated version. Thank you for your input

no problem! if you can you could put a small fire decal inside, but that might lag.

The problem with the decal is, that it won't move with the pumpkin character.

set the entity's decal in it's FPE to the decal you want it to glow with. Then use the line
:rundecal=6
in the entities scripts to make it continuously run the decal, and face the decal at the player

@Butter fingers
I tried it, but it didn't work. Is there an example (entity, fpi- and fpe-scripts) in FPSC that I could study? Or do you have one that you could upload and share with the community?

uh, OK I'm sorry, I woke up kinda messy and hopped on the forums. I was chatting theory rather than practice. But I'll look into it, It'd be usefull for characters that hold a flashlight or somethin, so I'll give it a go!!

I am. It get's all up in yo grill, and startles me by randomly travelling through walls!

I used to have one of those signs, but then realized how annoying it was...

Halloween is near and I haven't solved my pumpkin-problem yet:

I was experimenting with light-effects, similar to those in Butterfinger's Firefly game or to those of dimoxinil (using the alpha channel of a texture to simulate volumetric lights -> see my post above). Everthing looks good in the 3D-Programm (see attached screenie). Unfortunately, the Alpha-channel of my texture produces some weird results in FPSC. It also makes part of other textures of my low-poly model transparent (see screenies in the next two posts). What am I doing wrong?
