Data- First off, i really like your concept drawings, they're well done and presented in a way that says "smash bros." So lets address the issues that are on us right now.
How many levels should we cap?-Thats really a choice between how many you and i and anyone else are willing to make, i wouldn't mind having about fifty maps, but that is a lot of work to do. I like where you're going with the different maps, you're keeping it simple but fun, which is what smash was so great at utilizing.
Homefield Advantage-Once again, this would be great to have in the game, though its not essential, it would certainly make multiplayer really fun. I don't know if a lot know, but in smash multiplayer, first player had an advantage over everyone else, two player over third etc... I'm all for it, maybe show a little greeting before the match, or show the character being "beefed" up.
Level Designs-Like i said above, i love where you're going with the designs, you're doing a great job, keep it up.

As far as i know, i'm rendering the designs in 3d, i'll always accept help, although my schedule is pretty open so i do have a lot of time to work on them. I also have VanSeam for dbc, so i can create textures and load them into the objects from milkshape so we can have a graphical 3d showcase of our levels.
However, something that i want to bring to attention with the level designs, will there be animations of things going on in the background specific to the levels? I know part of the frantic action was all the players moving around and the background playing a role in the fighting sometimes. Just something i was wondering if we were going to do. I don't want to put a strain on the animators though, you guys have enough to do as it is.
As far as its going, I like it, keep up the good work.
ps. who else wants to make a sound file for chants and cheers?
Alright, i hope i didn't type too much and i hope i answered your question and have my input. Let me know if you want to talk about anything else.
I think i'll start on some of the levels tonight.
cheers mate.
