I agree that the platform looks fantastic in the screenie - but your uploaded zip file appears to be empty. =(

Still, nice work on the platform.

Yeah, a download would be nice.

Is this just your decision or is it about the legality of the content? As good as this looks, I really don't see using it for fun.

Best.

Thank you much, creator of zombies.

Like I said, it's great peice of work and I hate to see it waisted on games that will never be sold or seen. I have a use for this already.

Best.

Great effort and thanks for giving to the community.

A few pointers though(thought an "atta-boy" would be all from me?)

2172 tri's/polys
Waaaaaaayyyyyyy to many for an object like this.Try going less round on the balusters. For static objects you really need to keep them around 1-200 polys and 500 max on something of this size.

Whats up with the "scale= 3000"? Using an item you know is the correct size say a table or even a character to judge will help this.

UV mapping only looks good on the deck of this. The balusters and railings look like a Picaso painting.

Since were talking texture. 2560x1920 is not a power of 2. It's way to big for whats needed. Try and keep things 1024x1024 max on the most complicated of entities. 512x512 is suggested and even 256x256 is great for ceilings where your not able to get on top of it.

In saying all that I give you an "A" for design and a "C-" on execution. I think I've seen something similar in a game but I can't remember where.

In closing
Thanks and Good Luck

How come I can't see any screen shots on the forums? I just see the word screenie, and others talking like they can see them, but not me.

Someone please explain, so I can get these to work, so I can start examining objects before d/ling them.

Thanks for any help,

Ken

Look along the bottom of that post, to the right should be two buttons "View" and "download".

Nickydude,
lol...No offence but look at his join date....Sometimes you just have to let the weak in the heard become lion food man. If ya can't see screen shots in 3.25 years, it's time to cut him loose from the food chain.(Besides the fact he bumped a super old thread to ask this question)
