Once an advanced terrain has been constructed and is visible in the window, is there anyway to alter the constructed landscape smoothly there and then? IE direct control over the landscape by editing it at runtime. what i mean by edit is
1)change the height at a particluar point
2)colour a perticluar vertex (ie draw paths going through the landscape in runtime)

I don't know if DBP allows for saving as BMP, but if it does, I imagine you could open the .bmp to be changed, edit it, save it, then reload it as the new heightmap. Since people have made heightmap creators (with dbp?) I think it is feasible. If you get it to work, post your success as that sounds like a nice way to dynamically manipulate the game environment.

Good luck,

D
