The answer to the first question is quite obvious, isn't it? FPSC is much easier to make a game in.

I don't know I do not know you..... I'm not sure if you're able to make games at all, only you can answer that question.
I can give you my opinion..... it all depends on what you want to make. DarkBasic can be used for all kinds of games, rts, 2D, 3D, platform, shooters, fps, simulations and so on. You need to learn the language and get used to it. It takes quite some effort to create a good game with Darkbasic.
FPSC on the other had is limited in the type of games you can make, they're all more or less fps related. You can do some simple puzzles with it, some rpg aspects, some adventure aspects, but it's quite limited when it comes to those aspects. Good thing is, you don't need to learn a complicated programming language. You can create a game with FPSC without programming at all. If you want something else then the ordinary, you can learn to script to make your games more unique. The scripting language that FPSC uses is quite simple.
Also you need to keep in mind that FPSC comes with lot's of ready use items and there are lot's of resources in this forum. Darkbasic has much less, you need to much more yourself.
Try the demos and find out what's best for you.
