Well, I'm trying to make a dark map. I go

File>Build Game> Level Settings> Global Script. Ambience is at 25 and Red is 255 Green is 255 and Blue is 255, When I change the Ambience and press okay, I go back in and it resets to 25.

Help please.

I just did that very thing. I had the same problem. In my case it was simple. Select the ambience, I think 5 to 10 works best anything less is just a black hole, then after you set the number hit enter. If you don't hit enter it resets. That was it for me. Also reset bulbs down to 100 to 300 depending on whether they are in halls or big rooms.

or, just go into the fpi file and edit the number manually, that always works.

I found another post that talked about editing the skybox night sky file to darken it. The odd thing is I found the file easy enough but there didn't seem to be any setting related to ambience. Most of the coding was related to sizing and such. The default skybos isn't too bad but I wouldn't mind darkening it slightly. Mostly to help the contrast. It's a bit muddy. In a pinch I can Photoshop the original images.

I just put a X in each ambience box. That works
