Ok, here is the whole bit of it.

I have been using the FPSC version 1, and I visited the site today, and saw that there was an update for FPSC version 1.2. I downloaded and installed the update, and went back to using FPSC.

After the level I was working on was ready i saved it and went to Build Game.

THen this error comes up telling me I need a directX version I already have.

Nothing i have tried so far works, and am open to suggestions.

I think you actually need the February 2006 version or later. Head on over to Microsoft's Direct X site...
