theres a dgdk.net irc channel that Apex started, come on by and talk turkey!

network: irc.devhat.net:6667
channel: #dgdk-net

Apex and us beta-testers moderate the channel
hope to see the fellow DGDK.NET'ers there!!!

I've made this thread sticky just to allow people to see that there is a live resource for discussing DGDK.NET and related issues. The channel is practically empty at the moment since people are obviously not aware of it.

There's also the #darkbasic channel there, or the most active channel, #lobby.

@CR: Fair point, but if there's noone in #dgdk-net channel, people are welcome to ask questions in #lobby and we'll try to help them there

I'm just posting here for all to see, that this channel is up and running, and pretty much (empty). i.e. Get yourself over there and start building up the channel community so that we can all enjoy the fruits of our labour

I'm always in that room, so if you do need to ask anything... ANYTHING.. i.e. what my favourite function is, how many arguments the Sync function takes etc, just jump in... seriously... I'm a friendly host, and this room is awfully lonely at the moment..... I've been staring patiently at the room's door, hoping to hear that luxurious squeak of the hinges as the hordes and hordes of developers come piling in to ask those most famous of questions. Why? Why, why is this room so empty.

Seriously, I'm just reminding people that the IRC channel is still there.

Silly me ... I actually had already downloaded it and forgotten. Looking forward to porting the engine over to DGDK.net. I am going to make the open source (as much as possible while still making sure people buy the tools to use it) engine for DBP, DGDK.net (could easily be ported to DGDK prolly), Nuclear Basic, and Nuclear Fusion. Once this is done, I am going to go full time into my own engine with all my spare time. So all the people I am helping along and along now may be cut back to little or no help. With the free engines available, they shouldn't need much help. By then I will know the best performace out of those languages and I'll use it as my platform.
