I have just installed the 1.02 upgrade but whenever i load up FPS Creator it tells me its still version 1. Is there something im doing wrong or is this normal??

it's normal, that wasn't fixed until 1.03 i recommend installing that.

don't use 1.02, it has some huge bugs, that's why 1.03 was released a few days later.
