In order for him to actually use the sword I believe he needs the sword modeled into his hands, like the way the zombie doctor has his cleavers.

Sidenote: I used to play RS too, for 6 years, but I quit, at level 116 .

You can ditribute the retexture but you are not allowed to redistribute the mesh or model if it is from FPSC.
Not a bad retexture.

@url force studios:yer i know he cant actually use the sword properly.(he can hold it and use it like a gun lol)i just thought it looked good

(and also 6 YEARS! god i only played for 1 1/2 years and im already bored, but i am f2p. i can't be bothered to be p2p. waste of money lol)

@is it? i always thought yours are much better. If for some reason u wanted to know what program i use then it is photo impact 10. you probably never heard of it lol.

@fredP: ok ty for that b4 i realesed it i didnt know. im ganna put up all the files but the model. Then ill just give instructions as how to copy your model and what to rename it as. that will work the same way. I wont release untill u aprove this method just in case.

The retexture and anything you make is okay for posting.
Just make sure not to post any media from FPSC.
You can check out some of the various threads where others have posted retextures on models to see how they have done it.

what does that mean i cant post a altered FPE/DBO/Bin file. if they didnt have the model people couldnt do anything anyway.

(that was not supposed to be an argument, just a reason why)

also if it is ok to put these in, then can i include a piccy that tells you how to copy and rename the file.

ty for any help.

(i won't reply till tomorow cos i'm going to sleep then got school after).

I think it's okay if you post an altered .fpe file.
You don't need to post the bin or dbo file.
When the user builds/tests a level for a game FPSC makes the bin and DBO files.
What you should post is the .fpe file and the retexture, instructions for using the files and the license for using your retexture.
As a matter of fact you might be able to get away without the .fpe as well as the user should be able to place the original model that the retexture is for and edit it to point to the retexture you made but that is your choice.

it looks "ms painted". open it in The Gimp and use the noise filter to make it look more realistic. then open it in Photoshop and use the brushstokes-Crosshatch filter.

@FredP:ok ty i didnt know about the bin and dbo files ill try without.

@Zaibatsu: i use photoimpact cos i dont like the way the gimp works, and also i'm [mod edit:please don't post your age] do u expect me to have spent £200 on Photoshop.

also does any one know where the script meleeclose.fpi comes from on these forums. cos my model works amazingly with that so i wanted others to try it out.

no. I expect your parents to spend it. Or i expect some weird dude at your school to sell you a "copy" for way less.

any way heres the download.

First of all makesure that u have keenblade in its default folder.

(i have used the meleeclose.fpi script here and if the maker wants me to take it down they can if they wish to).

There is an image in the entitybank\medieval folder which tells you which .X file to copy and rename. thats all you have to do and then it should be fpsc ready.

You know whom this guy reminds me of?...Wasn't his name Dirk or something like that? There was this arcade game years ago that kinda looked like a disney cartoon and basically you had to make the right choices at the right time. It was the first game of its time like this using media as the game play, and would have been around the time of games like Tempest and Crazy Climber, Joust.....stuff like that. I cant remember the game or the Knights name for sure but this guy reminds me allot of it.
