Does anybody know how I can make the walking speed faster, still double the speed when you run, and slow down even slower when you crawled?

It sounds far fetched but it would be cool

I think it would be awesome if in later updates they put in FPI script commands that could affect your speed.

I just got FPS creator, and I'm having the same problem. Well, everything seams kinda slow. All the animations seam slow to me, I think that also includes the walking speed.

You can't.

If you experience slowness, you've basically build your level wrong. With FPSC you need to keep a few simple guidelines. Don't use huge open spaces. Don't put more then 3 enemies in a room. Use use long hallways, use corners instead. Many more tips can be found on the forums.

What! you mean you cant even change the walking speed of the main character?? He walks sooooo slowely its unbleivably bad, i dont know who decided on the speed but they obviosuly have never played a FPS before. I was told before buying the game by a forum member that you could change it. Now im really really upset cos this is the worst thing about the game, if i could get my money back now i probably would, this really changes everything for me

I'm sure somewhere down the line you'll be able to change the speed. FPSC is still in it's infancy and I'm sure things will be added in a future update. Be patient

Try right clicking on the green arrow and then changing the speed of the character in the properties on the left of the editor screen.
That's how you change the Players walking speed.

Maybe if the game is running slow and the animations to, then you have a very slow computer, video card, too little RAM etc.
You could try compiling a level, then press TAB and check to see what framerate your getting. (there's a framerate number top left of the screen of a compiled game if you press TAB.)

If that number is much lower than 33, then you have issues!

no. unless you modify the wav file itself using some sound software.

How would that work? I thought the sounds just overlapped.

Please tell me how to do that. I have sound editors.

I myself think the player speed is fine, the EA version's was way to fast, and I like this speed. It's more realistic.

As for the foot step sounds - you can't change them, they are 'timed' by the walk speed.
