Bet you're glad that's over

One thing that really must change on my retro game page (BombKid or BombJack) is that you have written there that his cape flaps, which is something that is simply not implemented in the game. Just in case people download it and are dissappointed, not only does his cape not flap, but he doesn't have one at all...
This was something I wanted to include but I didn't even have time to finish (as you point out on the page) the AI or the gameplay let alone add the bells and whistles that will be in the release version, like a flapping white cape for BombJack.
I should also mention that BombJack was most certainly an Arcade game first and foremost, and if you get the chance to play the arcade version (M.A.M.E can run the rom for it) it's really a nice little game

Thanks for the nice comments on my artwork

My improvements to come are exploding bombs and 12 enemy characters, 64 levels, more 3d backgrounds, tons more effects, a smoke effect to warn of a spawning enemy etc..

Congratulations to all the winners!!!!

Wow.. the things my mind will add in for me I swear he had a cape just because I remember the original adverts etc which had them. I've updated your review

Cheers,

Rich
