hi i made this giant alien maggot that i'm gonna make ready for fpsc,
and i need to make a unique biped for him. how do i create that sort of biped?

As far as i know the only biped is the default one (human).
But you can rotate and bend the parts to turn it into a bug.

you can make a biped from a lo poly mesh, it should be in the general tutorials or manual. Ive never used 3ds Max in my life and I know about this feature.

it's ok guys i found what i was looking for the answer is "bones"
weeee! and while i was looking i found out how to animate rigged bodies! yay! if anyone wants to know how to animate theyre guns, you can press the auto key, move the gun to all the desired places with the moving tools then press the auto button again to say that your done who would of known it was that easy? well probley alot but hey!
i hear some people have trouble with animating guns.
