Hi,

Can anyone suggest me any good tutorial site on vertex and pixel shader? If anyone know any good site that contains various code snippets using vertex and pixel shader will be even better.

I am actually looking for codes that generate specular mapping and bump mapping using vertex/pixel shader. Yes, I know DBpro already has bump mapping support. But I need pixel shader for specular mapping. If I use pixel shader for specular mapping, I will loose whatever texture mapping that are applied by DBpro, i.e. pixel shader will override ALL the shading behaviour of a model.

Any suggestion?
Thanks!

This site has a few snippets and explains everything about pixel/vertex shaders. however it doesn't teach you how to incorporate them into dbpro.

I'm working on per-pixel lighting at the moment (like the doom3 smooth effect) but im having a lot of trouble getting the vertex shader to work.

hope this helps a bit
