FPSC Classic Models and Media / Obj file in 3DS Max

When i import a model in .obj format in the left view the model always faces right. Which are the best settings to use?

Heres an image of it if someone can help me.

Just....rotate?It dont much matter which orientation your model has when you import.Just be grateful it didn't come in upside down/inside out or full of holes.

i have imported the model of ghost dog.obj in to max
are the setting on the import request ok or should i chage them.

As already stated, be glad it imported in one piece without holes, or having half the normals flipped. The orientation is of no importance, as you can just rotate the object to any orientation you desire. So far as import options, find settings that import the model as intact and complete as possible. If there is a weld verts option, thats sometimes a good idea to set with a really low weld threshold. Theres nothing like importing a model, and every single face is detached from the model, tripling your vert count, as well as making proper smoothing impossible.
