I am making a world war 2 BAR. This will be free just because I havent released anything free for a while.
The texture is still being worked on and it is 702 polys. Not great, i know, and I may do something about it.
Heres a screen.

actually, wouldn't it be easier to just ue DB-converter?
anyway, here ya go.

tell me if this works on your model. The problem might just be Milkshape.

hmmm, are you just having problems with the entity that you pick up to get the gun, or are you having problems with the animated gun for the hud veiwpoint?
if you are just having a problem with the weapon pickup, you could copy and rename the Mas36 rifle entity to BAR or something like that and retexture it with the bar's texture. Not perfect I know, but better than nothing.

well then, you should see how my suggetion works. the mas36 and the bar look almost the same. I don't think it would look all that bad. I have gotten weapons without pickups, and I just use the fpsc weapon that looks the most like it for the pickup ( I retexture it first, with the weapon's texture.) It works great!

shadow: no im working on the gamecore now.

fpsmaster:I tried that and tweaked the mas36 model a bit. It looked really good, but then I tried to fix the BAR model and found the problem. If I couldnt fix it, i would have used your idea.

It's not that bad, really.

im tryin to animate the gun now then im gonna work on everything else...

EDIT: animation problems. I animated it but then the gun was positioned wrong when i exported it. I rotated it but it messed up all the animations.

It'll just take a little longer than expected...

yeah. and i've just made a decision.
a WW2 media pack may soon be in the making. The BAR will be in it, but with a bipod and a custom texture. (much better!)

sweet! this could be useful. I'm adding this thread to my favorites. Could I make a suggestion? Can you make a chainsaw for the pack (they had chainsaws then too) that would be awsome!
By the way,How much do you plan to charge for the pack. I am willing to pay $15-$20 for something like this. Keep us updated and keep up the good work!
