I have been working on making terrain maps with Photoshop, and I found this link, which has an awesome free Photoshop plug-in for making height maps and bump maps/normal mapping. It has the links to the DL files from Nvidia and a tutorial. Rock out!!!



If anyone else uses Photoshop and has info on these topics, please let me know.

I don't know, dark donkey. I use Photoshop 6+ and the specs refer to Photoshop CS, which is newer than 6. The site also refers to using it with Paintshop Pro, but I, personally, have only used the plug-in with photoshop, and it is really cool.
