Lame joke.

By the way, it would say YTREWQ, and only if your keyboard had raised letters.

not the version that is used in Scandinavia ... it is quite different
there maybe an english version of it - however the standard English Keyboard layout is QWERTY

i don't think they even make any of the old brands anymore, qwerty has been the standard since the late 80's - probably longer.
so you either have a bloody old board or a scandinavian one ... and i think you'd know the difference

Ok, I'm tired of this, it's QWERT, named after the guy who disigned that kind of keyboard. If I'm wrong about the name, blame it on my 8th grade computer teacher.

At our school, they did a touch-type course... Which I didn't attend.

But some of my friends did, and apparently, they told you to remember the layout with sentences like "Quick Witches Eat Real Tomatoes" and stuff. MattyCarr_uk knows more about it than I do, but he's never here...

Why learn with stuff like that? Why not do what I do:

Step 1) Learn Dark Basic.

It's amazing how much it helps to TYPE THINGS ON A KEYBOARD instead of learning about Quick Witches and that <censored>

Better than when I had to learn, it took a month or two before you even got onto the real words. It's not really a particually usefull skill unles you use a manual typewriter.

You don't need to learn to touch type, you just need to use computers a lot. I still make the occasional glance at the keyboard, but at least you don't need that starting your fingers in the same place always crap.
