3 Dimensional Chat / Object disappearing in max?

Sup guys,
I have 3ds max and i hate it how i drop somethin on the keyboard and bam something goes wrong and i dont know what went wrong and how to fix it!
What happend this time was when i use ALT + Middle click its supposed to rotate it right?
Well it rotates it but the model dissapears and theres a box were the model was that is rotating unstead.
So basically i cant rotate,scale, or move anything cause theres a box there while im holding down the button.

somone please help me.

I think you pressed O, which turns on adaptive degradation. try pressing it again, should fix it. I just love how many keys there are in Max that do things that you don't know about and get you caught. When I was learning it, I made the mistake of accidentally pressing X, and all my gimzos turn into mini-axis

here's the simple answer. 3ds Max doesn't show the object while in the middle of a transform operation. This is to save on processing. It works like that, because its meant to.

I don't have a sig, live with it.
