I bought all the model packs yesterday and the sprite pack. It's quite fun just skimming through the packs. They look great. I mistakenly double ordered my FPS Creator. Two CDs are being dispatched today from the UK. No problems. I'll keep the other one as back-up.

I've been doing a lot of reading on the manual and I am looking for the instructions on how to delete an entity in the map. The only way I know how is to highlight the area and erase it, but it takes part of the segment with it. So if anybody knows an easier way, do let me know. I'll continue studying the manual in the meantime.

Left click the entity and then right click it.

The left click will select it and make it hover over your map.

1)left clicking it now will place it where your mouse is.(Just so you can use it if you need to move it someplace else)

2) Right clicking now will delete it.

I thought that too, haven't you heard of burning cds to keep a backup.

I ordered the first copy online plus the model pack 5 and sprite pack 1. Then I decided to get 1,2,3,4 model packs. My stupid self went to the same ordering process without thinking that the order form was for the FPSC combo with the maps packs (you get 25%). When I checked my order the next day, they sent two FPS CDs. The model packs I was able to download.

Yup I did make a back-up using my CD but that was the night before I realized two were coming in.

Anyways, I really really advise the new mappers to read the manual. Thank you for the entity tip. Yes I found out by trial and error and verified by your tip. There are TONS of info in the manual. Best mapping manual I've read. Mapping is all about trial and error. Doing my first level now constructing a hospital using zombie model packs as the baddies and a nasty baseball bat with a rusty nail for a weapon.

Uh huh...thank you very much..
