Hey, I can get the cube to show up after I print words, but how wouldi I go about putting words on the screen after lop on the cube??? any help is greatly appreciated and I am saying thanks in advance.

I believe it could be the manual synchronisation that is the problem. If you look at Code Dragon's code above, he uses the 'sync on', 'sync rate' and 'sync' commands. Basically, before your loop, you need to put a 'sync on' and a 'sync rate 60' where the 60 is the frame rate and can be changed to your desired value. Then, in your loop, when you want a screen update (generally at the end) add a 'sync' command.
