don't swear as well thanks, "bloody" in australia isn't really swearing but a parent from another country might no realize that or approve it.

OK take your model, select all of it. Right click, and choose UV Mapping>Direct.
Rightclick again, and choose segment by>projection. Then right click again, and choose continue>porjection normal.

That works for most simple objects. If you have a complicated object, you'll have to select faces automatically, and choose an AUVchart color manually. (It's what I do. I'm sure there might be an easier way)
