(It really shouldn't be called Trial and Error)
Well in the sense that it gives you a better feeling when you figure out something.

I know this isn't anything amazing, but I figured it out by myself, and am quite proud instead of just running off to the forums or googling it when I can't figure something out straight away.

Really the painstaking 20 minutes (approx.) was worth it.

I was working my way through the DarkBasic Pro Book that's just recently come out, and was on the program BouncerWithRepeat2, and thought it would be really cool to have a random colour every half second as well as a random screen position.

Trial and improvement...

It's taken me about 5 hours to get my camera Pan and Chase to be 95% right. I've archived about 6 different versions as I've come up with different methods. But now I can stand back and say "I did that".

It's not anything spectacular, but it's good to know I did it myself.

I reckon the last 5% will take just as long!

Methinks I may write a small tutorial on my method and share it with all of you who help out so often. The effect is worthwhile, it looks like the camera is mounted on a flying droid, and it swoops, dives and chases various objects (cars in my case).

Thanks in advance.
All the Best,
StevieVee

That sounds great, I'd love to have a look at it when I have completed the book and the 80 tutorials on the website.

Look forward to seeing it.
