Hi all i've been browsing around the net and found a tool to see if your computer is going to be able to run windows vista!

Make sure you have the internet on to tell you how well it went!
Mine didn't pass because mine needed higher ram, right now I have 256.

Just download the link below. Click on it once downloaded and it should go to the internet and show if you passed with you computer details!

No.
I need a memory card and a graphics card.
But I already knew that and I needed them anyways.

I passed, but..... the Microsoft Windows Vista Requirements they give are far from the truth.

Memory (RAM) 512 MB
Free Disk Space 15 GB
Total Disk Space 20 GB
Processor 800 MHz
Graphics Card Memory 32 MB

That's the biggest nonsense I've ever heard. Try running XP on a 800Mhz processor and watch a DVD at the same time, that will be even worse with Vista. Try running Vista with 512Mb, it will run, but don't even think about starting a more demanding application. 32Mb GFX Card and Aero interface.... I don't think so.

Besides they fail to tell you one thing, if you do have any parts in your pc that are older then 3 years, they aren't supported by Vista at all. With the Microsoft Windows Vista Requirements they give you, your system will be a lot older the 3 years.

I'm not runnning Vista at all, my brother does run it with 3Ghz CPU, 1Gb RAM, 256Mb PCI-Express GFX Card and lot's of GB free and it runs, but to say it runs fine is far strectched, he's not using it for demaning applications at all.
