1) After installing V104 RC2 updates everything seems to be working OK, but there is no posibility to set X and Y coordinates of 'Load' and 'Save' buttons. You just cant set their place on the screen.

2) After compiling, the game takes quite a lot of time to load even on rather powerful machine with 1GB of RAM

3) The game created using FPSC is lagging quite often, thoug the machine is rather powerful in my opinion: 1GB RAM Pentium4 3GHz CPU and XRadeon550 graphics card with 256 Mb of memory .

Despite of some imperfections i noticed, FPSC is a cool tool. It is great to create your own game. I learned a lot of things. Thanks for your work and keep making FPSC perfect. Good luck

On number 2) and 3) I have the same problem. I decided to move an entire layer to another game level and it did help.

Other tips that might help you:

1)cut down on dynamics
2)make corridors narrow
3)too many entities will eat TONS of CPU cycles
4)distribute your NPC enemies evenly across the level. Bunching them in one area might slow your system down.

It does get horribly laggy compared to Source, Radiant or UnrealEd. I'm sure improvements are being made. I think FPSC is a good product. Will go a long way to becoming a fantastic engine. I love the user-friendly GUI, etc. etc.

Uh huh...thank you very much..

Oh, spawn your enemies with trigger zones, another good thing is for doors activated by a nearby switch (not half way across the level) make the enemies also activated by the switch
