i would like to know if FPSC is right for me. Basicly me and my mate came up with a grear idea for a game, we have wasted most of our lives on games and have a fair bit of computer knowledge between us but totally new to game design. The idea is a WWII FPS with abit of a twist so i have downloaded the trail and looked around. But can we make a game similar to MOH or COD with this software. One thing i noticed is will we be able to have the levels as long as they are in MOH and COD? And another question is there a cheaper alternative to making our own 3d models than 3d canvas pro or gamespace as they are both pretty expensive? and finally would it be better to just get dark basic pro as the source for this creator can be got for free if i understand wouldnt that mean there is no need to buy both programs?

thanks in advance for any replies

Each level is confined to a grid 40x40 I think it is.

Yeah, like they said above, Milkshape 3D.

You'll still need FPS creator if you have DBPro and the source code.

Try out the demo and check out the showcase forum to see what can be done with this software.

So, you want to make a game but never have before.
FPSC is perfect for you. (Milkshape too)

DBPro will require far more programming skills than FPSC.
As a beginner in game design I would recommend FPSC so that you can spend more time designing and less time coding. Less coding means you'll also have more time for modeling, texturing, and creating other custom media.

AND GET THIS!

Now is the perfect time to try FPSC for free!
WIth the NVIDIA Contest going on, TGC is offering a special trial version of FPSC.
Unlike the regular trial version, this one allows you to make an EXE!
So, try it, make your game, and enter to win a new PC in the contest.
