Hello everybody first off i just wanna say it feels real good to be back on the forums but anyways i realy want people to see my first model that I ever made. Its not all that great or anything, but i do give myself some credit for my first model ever. so it would be great if you guys can give me some feedback on the model. Please lay it on me easy lol. When I complete the model I will donate it to the community for free thank you all for your time......Duva A4 PrOdUcTiOnZ

Not bad for a first model. It is a little plain looking, but if you can do this model, then you should be able to make a more interesting table like this pretty easily:

Sorry about making it so long, it was gonna make like a "resident evil" type of table for our game "Out Gunned {The Demo}" but I don't know if i'm gonna use it. Thankz a million everybody your your feedback so far when its done i will upload the free table on the forums and our website since our website now holds 800 gigs here is the model before the texture. I'm realy tryin to get into the modeling thing so thank you all for your great feedback, but the truth is a was inspired by my good friend Jonathan Fletcher to learn how to model so cheers Jon

Not bad; I concur with the others about the length, and I would use straight planks of wood (the texture) from one end to the other without breaking it up. It looks a bit more like a wooden floor texture.

But great job on taking the initiative to make your own work; it takes time, but keep it up.

Yeah, milkshape isn't the easyest 3d modeler to learn to use, i sugest using sketchup, it'll make it like 10x quicker and easyer to use, get it at www.sketchup.com (not trying to advertise just giving out some info) hope this helps

My ENTIRE HARDDRIVE only holds 180 gigs! Minus that used for Windows + the backup partition! And you have 800 on a site? Dang, I have about 15 megs on my current server

Ok I figured it out i'll add it to the pack, and give you the model free to. So incase people don't ever see this thread and buy our pack they will still get the table model and others

nice work A4, keep it simple, look at things and see how primitive shapes make it up, your getting the hang of basic box modeling, a good start to modeling generic items

You second table is better you just have a problem with the texture.
I would suggest you get Wood Workshop.
It is free and you can get some decent wood textures with it.
The texture you have now is not so hot.
Not bad for your second model.
And kudos for listening to those giving you good advice.

You could get Genetica; Wood Workshop comes from that program, except in Gnetica you have much more control over the results.
