if you want to know why to choose between either, they both have extensive features files and both have demonstrations.

we can't tell you which you'd prefer to program in only you can

Download some retro compo entries then try and find some stuff made in blitz 3D that's better.

Be sure to check out the different code style as well, DB is far easier to learn.

I know it's not your fault, but these BB3d/DBP posts have been banned because DBS shouldn't have to pay for bandwidth that is used to discuss the benifits of another package AND the amount of flames these start.

The only way to know is to find out yourself, try using the demos. It's a personal choice.
