Hey Guys/Gals,
If anyone knows of some good cheap effective software to use with FPSCreator, please post a link here to it. If you have found something handy that helped you out or you know of something that would make some of this a little easier. I'm looking mostly for stuff to help on creating art/models and translating that into FPSCreator without much work as possible.
Thanks.

The GIMP is a free image editing software that is similar to Photoshop. As for modelling, Milkshape has a 30 day trial version with no restrictions. And after 30 days it is only $25. I don't have links for either one offhand, but you can google them.

In the models and media forum there is a resources sticky at the top which has the stuff you are looking for.
And Keith has some links memorized by heart for some resources and he might pop in here and post them.
Here is some software you will find to make FPSC easier.

Signs IV
Magic FPS
ECS
WCS beta
Decal Maker

As far as modeling software I use Milkshape to model with.
For $25 you can't beat it and you can use it to animate models as well.

The Gimp has already been mentioned for texturing and paint Shop Pro and Photoshop come to mind.

You will probably need Ultimate Unwrap 3D or UV Mapper to make UV maps.
If you search the forums you will find a variety of tools, apps, models, weapons, etc. to get you going.
There is a lot of free stuff available for FPSC.
I can safely say more free stuff than you will find anyplace else for any other engine.

Also 3ds Max is available for free for 30 days with full features... So you might want o try that out.

He said, "You drink when you're lonely." No I drink when I want!
He said, "You'll never be sober." Sure. Why would I want that?

Thank you.
I think I'm probably going with Milkshape. I've used the program before and I figured I'd probably get my best results from it. Just need to start working on a game project and get everything rolling.
