I am somewhat new to FPS creator and the whole game creation scene so i am wandering...

if you use the resources that are given to you when you install fps creator, can you make an exceptional game?

What do you mean? You mean the models that they give to you than yeah I've seen alot of games like that. Just one import thing GOOD STORY than your fine.

If you want to make your own models you certainly can (even though i haven't) Also the models packs come with a bunch of models you can work from. Other than that the FPSC comes with already made models.

You could for sure, just check out some of the monthly competition entries. They use the stuff that comes with FPSC, yet make something really cool with it.

The game wouldn't be exceptional in graphics, since we've seen it all before, but can be exceptional in gameplay and storyline.
