Resource Hacker will do the job, although I don't know if you're allowed to do it...

Do you mean the name of your shortcut or the text that appears on the taskbar?

There is a tutorial on my site. Click below, look on the right side of the page under FREE FPSC CONTENT, click tutorials.

All I can tell you is that it worked for me and others as well. That being said, it may not work in all cases, and has not been tested beyond V1.

Did you perform the last step (repair) after you changed the text?

Make sure you are using resource hacker not another resource editor.
An fpsc exe consists of an exe that has files appended onto the end. Some resource editors discard these appended files so you end with the 90Kb exe without the appended files.

If you are using resource hacker I don't know why it's discarding the appended files for you. It doesn't appear to have any options that could be set differently.

By way of demonstration, he emitted a batlike squeak that was indeed bothersome.
