I have a sphere. and its used for the collision detection and other things in my game. However, the sphere is dull and boring and now that I have things going I want to use a different object instead of the plain sphere. I want to hide the sphere and display the other object at the same location as the sphere. They have different Z cordinates and I think that screws it up alot. Is there anyway I can combine the new object to the old sphere?

you could try this:

Let SPHERE be the object number of your sphere.
Let OTHER be the objet number of your other object.

Then, just do:

position object SPHERE,Object position x(OTHER),OBject position y(OTHER),Object position z(OTHER)

If any of that isn't understood highlight the command in DarkBasic and press F1.

That was my first idea. However, that won't work in this situation. I don't know why but for some reason they the model won't stay directly on top of the sphere. Any other suggestions?
