I email Him and he said I could post the dog if I add this so I will post the whole email so you can see it.

Your welcome to use the model in your projects but I'd prefer a link to my site if you want to post the dog on the forums...

something like "dog provided by http://www.psionic3d.co.uk"

as most of the guys on there know my old free stuff anyways so its best to give credit/a link

Good Luck with your project!!

Comes in a installer for you.
If you add the zombie.fpi in it's main it will track you down and kill you.

Yes, it is animated if you use the zombie.fpi and it comes in a handy installer with license. Nice contribution and thanks for your time and work involved.

Best.

I made a very simple attack script and included the dog bark sound file. See the instructions inside.

Best.

Nice dog. It and the Realm Crafter Doberman are very similar.

I just downloaded and ran the install.
He's still sharking my scenes. He looks fine until I test the level. Then all I see is his head sticking up through the floor. Any ideas why this is happening?

I wish I could help you but I don't know what to tell you. it work before the new updates so maybe has something to do with it.
You can play with the files and see if you can get it to work.

I've tried raising him up, but he just drops through the floor. But only during test. When you place him on the map he looks normal.

I played with it some and it has something to do now with the dog as if you raise him off the floor and the run the game you can walk right through him.
So he is not solid.
Not sure how to fix it. sorry.

If he's not solid, I guess that's why his legs pass through the floor. I wonder why it works for some? Oh well, he's nice looking, but I've put too much time in him. Wish I had an animated dog as an ally like the one in Sacred.

Try using the Page Up button to place the dog above the terrain and maybe set isimmobile to "yes".
I'll look at it if I get the chance but I have company today so my time is limited.

@All,
Greetings. I've had success scaling the model to 500%, and setting the scale to about 18 in the .fpe.

I remember Butter fingers posting a discovery that FPSC will often play havok with a model's floor collision, if extreme scaling takes place.

During the debacle regarding Monster, back when Psionic's now infamous dog first hit these boards,
I somehow recall that the original model needed to be scaled down to be in proper scale. I'm not sure, but I think that's the case.

Scaled to 500%, and set at 18 or so in the .fpe, and the dog strolls along the top of the floor as it should.

Thanks,

Seth Black

EDIT:
This method is less than perfect. The collision box for the dog appears to have remained at an increased size, and this causes some problems running some scripts, as distances aren't being acheived.

Could manually alter .fpi files, to accomodate, but the collision hassles that exist don't seem to make it worth the effort...

Sorry I forgot I'm using 1.04 not 1.05 ..
I didn't like the way things were working with 1.05 so went back to the .04.

Sorry To bump this thread but I know a solution:

Place a decal On the floor E.G: blood splat

Place the dog slightly higher than the decal

Now it should stay above the floor even if it moves away from the decal.

I say again, Sorry for Bumping the thread but I thought it would help.

Thanks,
Dup
