Hi there to all of you,

I have made an earlier post in the showcase section of the forum about a new FPSC game I'm working on, which will focus on the Spetsnaz special forces. I'm busy designing quite a bit of new 3D models including detailed ones of Russian/Soviet weaponry, and of course a host of new characters on the friendly and enemy side.
I will be presenting here some of these models and would be very interested in your feedback. If all goes as planned, I hope that this will be an interesting and challenging game for all of you.
So in this post here is an impression of the 1st Spetsnaz model in Kamysh camouflage and wearing the "Grad-1" vest.
Cheers,

Caleb

wow man you're good. You should make a couple model/character packs. If you don't know how to make a gun, just buy Weapon Creator. (search for it).

Well as good as 4 and 5 better than 1,2, and 3.

Guys,

thanks a million for your feedback! Your comments are very encouraging and will motivate me even further in developing some more original stuff for FPSC, which might in fact turn into a model pack of some sort eventually.
Here's another model of the Spetsnaz wearing the BDU in Tyen (Reed) camouflage.
Cheers,

Caleb

Ok, so here goes the Spetsnaz model again wearing the BDU in Shadow (Urban) camo. I'm also working on other 3D model variations, with different loadouts in order to make things more interesting.
Cheers,

Caleb

Ok so since I'm working on getting some material for the baddies as well, here is a first model of a rebel fighter. There will be more of these coming along, including kamikaze fighters (yes the idea is that they blow themselves up when you're close!) as well.
Stay tuned

Ok folks, so today I was in the mood for yet something new, so I made up this other model for a rebel fighter. In fact if you want to know the truth for the face I reworked a real photo from a famous Chechen warlord, so it can't get more realistic than this I guess!
Cheers,

Caleb

Ok folks, as a matter of fact I'm also working on some weapons, and in particular in accurate depictions of the AKs, including the newer AK-74, AKSU-74 etc.
Here is the screenshot of my nearly finished AKS-74 model, yet to be UV Mapped & animated.
What I've noticed is that in the model pack 5 although all other weapons are very nicely modeled, I have the impression that the AKM has a serious flaw since the cocking bolt (& shell ejection) are positioned on the left hand-side instead of the right one, so I was going to correct that
Cheers,

Caleb

Ok ok....just to give you a quick glimpse of what I have in mind, check out this new 3D model of the T-80U tank.
It would be real cool to use it in a game as an active entity moving around and spouting fire...huh?
Maybe our comrade Butters Fingers could help out with his new killer scripts ?
Cheers,

Caleb
