I am remaking all the hud images for the weapons, but I get this stupid problem. Can someone teel me how to fix it?

I poured Spot remover on my dog. Now he's gone.

did you use an alpha channel for that image?

what file format is it in?

No, someone said for it to be transparent it just had to be in full black, and it is a .tga and .dds image.

I poured Spot remover on my dog. Now he's gone.

It will only make the black transparent if it has an alpha channel or it's in jpeg format, which a gun image can't be. I use photoshop to make alpha channels but I think paintshop pro and gimp can make them too. Hoped this helped a little

JPEG has a weird compression thing though that tends to make certain parts of the image slightly off black (0,0,0) so its just not good period. I use GIMP for transparency
