FPSC Classic Product Chat / Can't get my MP game to work

Hi, I've been trying to create an MP game for the past week. Everytime I build the game and launch the executable, I get a sci-fi background with a 'Return to game' head. There's also a 'New game' and 'Exit game' option. When I launch a game, I am set to a character automatically and can't move, only look around. At the lower left hand corner is: 'Joining game' or something along those lines.

Possible reasons
The map is quite large compared to MP maps ive played on here.

Lights have been set to green although they still say 'Static'

There are six playable characters on the map which ive given different names

All the characters are unarmed

I've changed the names of the weapons and ammo.

I've possibly changed something to do with the menus, if that's the case, i'm not sure how to fix it.

At this point, I'm the only one with the game.

Added a Hurt Zone but I don't think it works.

The texture and lighting settings.



That's all I can think of right now. Are any of these breaking my MP game?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

i had this problem too, it worked when someone else was playing aswell

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do have a router, but I have played one of the ready-made arenas and it worked so I don't think its got anything to do with that.

I'm still not sure about the menu, which only has 2 options. If my MP works, should this change? Or have I changed it?

its a bug with fpsc ur game has single player scripts probs if ur menus no gd, could someone point him in right direction assuming this is the case please i dont have the time right now sorry

Meh...


Basically, it is a problem with the game. I changed the background for the title menu and I'm guessing it decided to run on a single player script or something.

I've tested me theory aswell and it appears to be so. When I change the background it stops working. Is there a way to change it back, or put them on default?

reinstall or if you look in your language bank of your actul FPSC directory there is a copy of the scripts
