How do you use the roof segments? I tried putting them together, but they just don't look right. how do you align the corners and all?

I know that, but the problem is the roof pieces don't sit on the roof of the building. And the corners don't line up at all. Even with the rotate command.

You have to go up or down too to set the roof.

The manual does not cover the model pack roofs which is where I am having the trouble. I read the manual and aside from me, I'm sure other people who post here would prefer assistance not badgering. So if it would help, please be considerate and constructive and stick to the question at hand and don't badger people, you never know when you might need a hand too

(Sorry for the extra content, just had to get that off my chest ) Back to work.

Look at the rooves:

Roof straight is level with the ground (the is the one you want)
Roof straight 2 is level with the end of roof straight
Roof straight 3 is level with the end of roof straight 2

Hope it helps,

@ Cruise McClarren

For starters, I have helped plenty on this forum, at least those who posed a well defined question. From your original post, it was assumed ( since you did not specify) that you were having trouble with the roof content in the original game package, NOT an add on model pack,

Quote: "The manual does not cover the model pack roofs "

And HAD you included a screenshot in your original post, showing the NEW roof pack ( whichever pack you are having trouble with ) then I probobly would not have posted.

As far a badgering,,,hmmmm,,,well,,I dont think making a statement is badgering.

badgering

noun
the act of harassing someone

tr.v. badg·ered, badg·er·ing, badg·ers
To harass or pester persistently

Your right,,,and when I need help, I am specific, VERY specific in my question.

Sorry,,,not had my coffee yet.

@Stamina

Maybe badgering was the wrong term hehe. But the way you worded your comment was almost as if you were insulting me. If you weren't then I appologize. And you are right, I didn't clearly state my intentions. I waas at work at the time and did not have access to my images. The joys of kids is that I don't always get the chance when I am at home to post queries. Oh...

Ah I skipped posting on this thread a while back thinking he was talking about the roof's in the ww2 section and not the one in modelpack 3 from tgc....

But since we are on this subject I ran into this picture a while back on another post and can not find that original post anymore but maybe someone here can explain how this is done in the photo (enclosed in the download) or does someone have modified mesh's to finish this... I am not worried about the windows so much signs 4 will fix that but the roofs on this with the slants are my biggest focus....so anybody got a clue on why this isnt part of the model pack or why I dont see it anywhere or a possible clus on where to get these without having to build them myself ?

Have you downloaded your CLiPs today.

Ofcourse, that's a render in 3DS MAX so there's likely to be some modifications to the models. Screenshots from FPSC would have been better...
