There are not always 31 days in a month. There are 356 days in a year. Here's the version with the correct answer

perhaps that there are 365 or 366 days in a year not 356

Actually there are 365.242375 days in a year. Thats basically why we add a day to each 4'th Feb. unless the year is evenly divisible by 100 unless its also evenly divisible by 400

so its

60 * 60 * 24 * 365.242375

Only if you are defining the word 'year' as how long it takes for the Earth to orbit the sun. Most people define the word 'year' as a calendar year, which is of course 365 or 366 days, otherwise we'd all be getting very confused with when exactly new year's day started! As for the number of seconds in a year, the answer is quite obvious. 12.

(Second of January, second of February, second of March, .....)

funny Ric but then wouldn't it be 13 with February being the Second Month. of course then there is the second full moon of the year etc.
