Hey i was wondering if MilkShape 3D is capable of saving just the skeleton of an animation so that you can rig multiple models to the same skele., if not are there any other 3d moeling or animating programs that can do this?
Thanks,

create a file in milkshape thats just joints.
animate the joints.
save that file.
open that file and quickly rename it and save it as something else before you overwrite your original.
import your mesh
then you can attach a model to the animation by applying polygons to the joints.
save the file, since you already named and saved before you wont overwrite the original by mistake.
export the final result using JT's exporter using skin and bones settings.
