I have some questions about the SDK. Before i buy it.

1. Will it support Visual C++ express edition(2005)?

2. What is better the .net or the regular SDK?

3. Is it easy to setup to use?

4. Is it as simple as DBP?

Thanks guys im sure ill have some more questions later on in the day.

kk - quite a lot there

1 - I dont know. What version is it i.e. 2005?

2 - Also not sure, I only have the regular GDK but I prefer C++ to any .NET language

3 - It doesnt take a rocket scientist. You just have to add the include and library paths and you are set.

4 - Yes and No. Writing in a different language is ok if you konw that language, C++ for me, and generally the functions are the same. There are a few differences though such as the fact that there is no GDK String object like there is DBP (no matter though - I have my own written function that beats every other one I have seen). It isn't hard to adapt to using the GDK.

Hope that helps

The GDK (C++ libraries) are being worked on because the DGDK.NET relies on this code base. I can only update the DGDK.NET system when TGC have completed changes to the DGDK (C++) veraion.

All bugs, fixes, changes and additions are inherant to GDK, so therefore, the DGDK.NET toolkit will always only get updated after the DGDK version has been released.

Paul.
