Ok, I'm just starting to code in DGDK and here is my code. I wonder what am I doing wrong. I can only hear sound and see anything.

Nevermind, got it to work, basically took one of the codes from the example, replaced the file name and the rest of the unnecessary lines. Although I would still like to know why my previous coude did not work.

I don't use DGDK but I would say your code should have looked like this:


You need dbSync(); in your main loop before anything is displayed, though I dont think that should affect an avi...

Yeah, thanks for your advice, it helped me on another part of the program. Another question that I have is that can I call dll's while i'm playing. I need to poll for abort while i'm playing avi and other movie files.





this is the test code I have, so how can I do this? All i'm getting is a blank screen.

well, basically, what i wrote in here and what I had is not entirely same, what I posted is correct and basically the solution to my problem. I since i'm doing a lot of type casting to a character pointer when calling my dll functions, i forget that i don't need to cast it when returning int's. So there is my stupidity.
