Just out of curiosity, can I use windows media player to play avi, wmv and other movie files inside the db window, if so, how can i do this?

I'm unsure about WMV files, but DBP and DGDK support several video formats by using the dbLoadAnimation and playback functions. Have you tried using these to see if they fit your requirements?
