can you make a .bvh file understandable by 3dsMax?

Some bvh files are already compatible with 3ds max, the ones that aren't can usually be made compatible by renaming the nodes to fit the character studio spec.

Look in the documention that ships with max. There is a file called BVH.rtf that explains the naming structure that character studio understands.

when I import motion cap files, the biped gets deformed
