So how about we give Jon a hand for creating great weapons in MP 5. Now I'm sure many of you have checked out the m4 and the SPR and tried out their scopes and such, I did too, but I was saddened by the generic "crosshair on the scope" design, so I'm making a pack of red dot, partial crosshair, and specialty scopes, all made according to their real life counterparts. To me, nothing ruins a gun like trying to get excited about sniping a guy through basic crosshair scopes. No it will not be free, but it WILL be cheap (5-10 USD depending on how many variations). Aside from scopes I will also include in the pack ironsights, so every gun you want in your game can take advantage of the "every gun can use a scope" deal. No guns without scopes will not have scopes, for these I am making the ironsights. Then there are going to be "all the time" (not the zoom in ones)crosshairs. I am designing 1 pistol, rifle, submachine gun, grenade and rocket launcher, and futuristic.

Below I will post pictures of the scopes I have completed. Please comment...

This first one is a sniper scope

imposion: Thanks man I see you're new to the forums, welcome and I will send you the rest later.
Errant:Yeah same. I didn't know anyone would figure out it was a Russian made dragunov, good job on identifying it.

I liked your first set much better. Not luvin the sci-fi or understanding the binocular view on a weapon. Last of the 3 is OK though.

The binocular view isnt for a weapon, I just did it incase someone had binocs and they wanted a scope function. I use the m4 as a tester for the scopes that is why it is on a wep. The red dot scope is my favorite of the last 3 too. I might redo the scifi one, as it was a little rushed.

Did you not? I knew Errant would... That boy is a Gun nut! Haha just kidding, buddy

I recognised the "Sniper #3" as the kar98 (I think) from Day of defeat, but that could be Steams error.

Some nice looking stuff!

Now that I did some more research I believe they may use the same scopes.

Oooooh now these look nice. how much will it be in £? Just wondering as I might just get it (if my parental units allow me) These look very cool!

EDIT: Is that last one in your first post from the Mosin Nagant? I recognise it from Call of Duty: Finest Hour. (P.S. How could you do all that fighting in one hour??)

Ironsights are a WIP as I am playing other fps's to get a feel on how to set it up. They are quite interesting!

Oh okay if you have any WWII games they usually have ironsights on the guns. A problem you might have is that all the scopes can zoom in 10X with the mousewheel. Keep up the great work

Hi
I don't want to rush you but are you going to be finished the Ironsights soon? I am releasing my demo of Elite OPS within a month and I want to know if Ironsights are a possiblity for it. With the new V1.04 upgrade its possible to make weapons more accurate when you zoom in and this could be a good feature if you are making Ironsights

Slayer_2

P.S. I like your scopes alot. My fave was the one with the fancy numbers and stuff
