hi, i was looking for 3dstudio biped animations, does anyone here uses half life or ut bipeds ?

i need help in animating for the nvidia compo, because i dont have time for all that, if someone could help me animate, animat my models, or rigging or just sharing me animation files would be cool.

Is there anyone with time ? thanks

Animation is a black art reserved for those with the patience of Bhuda and 3 white elephants.
Its a very complicated process, that usually leads those set artists into professional jobs.

That said if you spend the time and have patience you could build one for yourself.

It can take 20 hours of tweaking and so forth to get one character animated when starting out, you could pull it down to about 8 hours per character if you write down a streamlined method.

you could pull it down to 4 hours if you save animated bones for use in all models.
eg walkcycle being the most complicated animation.

Artists dont really want to spend the time on such complex work as well if they think the work will end up in the scrap heap or on a dodgy thought out game.
They would prefer to use it as a demonstration of their work so they can get a job.

This is the issue you are facing.
